Thanks for reading the blog! I've been reading other people's blogs for seven years and have occasionally blogged myself during that time, but never consistently and to such an extensive level. Now, it's time!
Who am I?
I'm a twenty-four year old, ginger, male, dead-end job working, semi-pro gambling, motorsport racing, marshalling, travelling, website building, full-time, part-time blogger?
What are my hobbies?
Motorsport. I live to race. I'm not very good at it, yet; unlike my friend (and serial blogger) Pip, who in his "trusty" old Nova, won the Class B title in the 750 Motor Club Stock Hatch Championship in 2009. Having pretty much given up everything I used to call fun, in order to make more money to spend more money, I could do with seeing a return on my investment in 2011 by not being too shit.
Cycling. I'm overweight. Spending a few hours on a bike every week is beginning to help address that problem. I have a weight goal of 75kg, which means I need to lose approximately 21% of my current mass - down from the 25% I was facing after Christmas.
Gambling. This goes as a hobby for now, although hopefully within the next eleven months it will move into the career category. You can keep all your catchphrases and buzzwords - mugs game and all that - I agree. The majority of the people you and I know will lose money when gambling. It doesn't have to be that way, as I shall reveal in due course. One piece of advice now, if anyone ever says "I've got a tip for you" - ignore them, they haven't.
Travelling. You won't read much about travelling on here, racing comes before travelling and you can't travel far for free!
Thanks for tuning in, until next time, ciao.
